HAYS has partnered with an international real estate company looking for a Portfolio Manager in Long Beach, CA to support their Student Housing portfolio across the US.

Your new role

You will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of a portfolio of student housing in the US and Canada.

• Responsible for updating portfolio models and tracking actual/projected financial performance of assets.
• Managing and preparing the annual budgets and reporting that covers the financial performance of assets.
• Conduct scenario analyses of portfolio.
• Creating leasing strategies to maximize revenue by analyzing preleasing trends in the market.
• Keeping up with market intelligence by collecting data on the US student housing market.

What you'll need to succeed

• 8+ years' experience in Real Estate Investment/Asset Management
• Degree in Real Estate, Business, or Finance.
• Strong analytical mind and financial modeling.
• Experience in Multi-Family or Student Housing.
• Attention to detail, team orientated, strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
