Polaris is currently seeking Enrichment Teachers

Position summary:

The Enrichment Teacher seeks to partner with parents and teachers to support students' inquiry in music education and will implement curriculum in a safe, healthy and nurturing classroom environment that supports each student's social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development. This individual consistently seeks to learn more about emerging findings relating to best practices in their field and in education.

Job responsibilities include:

• Takes initiative to make the school an effective and meaningful experience for the children and families.
• Consistently use responsive and engaging instructional strategies.
• Plan and implement daily lesson plans based on developmental goals.
• Measure and monitor learning goals and maintain accurate records of students' progress and development.
• Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, fellow staff and school leaders.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in field of expertise.
• Prior experience working in an educational environment serving children or youth.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
• Ability to use standard office equipment as a laptop and smartphone.
