Location: Versailles, MO
Salary: $115,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually

Plant Controller - $3.5 Billion Manufacturing Company - Versailles, MO

The Controller will oversee operations encompassing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management. Maintaining meticulous internal financial records, generating comprehensive reports, and ensuring accuracy in documenting a business's financial transactions. Compliance and navigating relevant laws and regulations. Payroll and processing payments and collections. Guiding strategic financial decisions for the company, contributing significantly to the formulation and planning of operating budgets.

Compensation: $115k - $125k + 10% Bonus + Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD, LTD, 401(k): 3% company contribution, 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays + 8 sick days.

Relocation: $15,000 lump sum for renters, $35,000 for homeowners.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of 2 full-time employees.

Manage month-end close, including preparation and coordination of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

Oversee annual budget activities, including labor and overhead expenses, and standard costing of products.

Coordinate and prepare month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reports (traditional and flex models).

Support local Operations and Corporate Finance Teams with daily/weekly/monthly operational and financial metrics.

Prepare weekly/monthly forecasts.

Assist local Engineering/Operations with capital projects approval requests.

Ensure local compliance with accounting policies, Sox, and other corporate policies.

Coordinate local product costing, payroll, A/P, and fixed asset management.

Manage and develop the finance team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting.

Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V-lookups, SQL Queries).

3+ years of Manufacturing Accounting experience.

Oracle experience strongly preferred.

Experience with standard product cost accounting.
