Description:
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Phlebotomy Tech for a fantastic healthcare facility near Windsor, CO! This will be a fully on-site position!
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Collecting and receiving biological specimens
- Entering samples into computer systems properly
- Preparing samples for analytical testing and/or the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area
- Responsible for pre and post aspects of analytical testing
- Performing specific analytical testing as assigned
- Following guidelines of the Code of Conduct
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Must be a high school graduate, or have achieved equivalency through the GED exam
- Reading, writing and math abilities are required
- Organizational skills are also required
- Basic knowledge of department resource materials
- Previous experience of at least six months in a clinical laboratory setting OR completion of a phlebotomy school
- Basic computer skills
- May require ADHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification
- Long Term Care/Float positions must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy
