These guiding principles aim to improve the quality of life on campus and strengthen the ties between and among undergraduates, graduate students, faculty/staff, and community. Campus Recreation provides educational and leadership opportunities through instructional programs, intramural activities, sport club teams, and student employment for diverse levels of skill and ability.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this TeamRec position include being a reliable source of information on strength training, aerobic training, flexibility training, injury prevention, rehabilitation and general fitness; designing safe and productive strength and/or conditioning programs for a variety of clients; instructing clients in correct exercise technique; representing TeamRec in a professional manner; and acting as a positive, enthusiastic and professional role model.

Qualifications

• Certification in personal training by a reputable agency is required.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR/AED is required. (Training is provided by Campus Recreation.)
