PaySimple, a division of EverCommerce, is seeking a UX Researcher and Designer to join our Product team.

In this role, you will be to deliver the best possible experience for the users of multiple product lines including web apps, mobile apps, and API-driven solutions. You'll interface with various customer types to ensure you have adequate information and data to produce key customer insights, recommended customer journeys, and wireframes. The ideal candidate will think from a research and data perspective first, and a design perspective second. It's a bonus if you have UI design in your background as well.

Responsibilities

• Leverage different types of customer research methods including interviews, usability testing, and customer feedback data
  
• Create sketches, journey maps, and/or prototypes that articulate designs that reflect that data gathered
  
• Understand how to turn quantitative and qualitative data into insights that inform designs
  
• Create user-centric designs that are simple, easy to use and aesthetically strong
  
• Present your ideas and data to various stakeholders, by way of presentations
  
• Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including Product, Developers, QA, and executives
  
• Be able to document/illustrate IX (interaction design) within prototypes or documentation
  
• Create solutions that work within regulatory and compliance requirements.

Where

PaySimpleis located intheRiNoArts District of Denver, close to the 38th and Blake station off the RTD A Line. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic,our teams are all working remotely for the foreseeable future. Please note that you must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship in order to qualify for this position.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• a sharable portfolio that demonstrates how you have aggregated data and turned that data into delightful solutions to customer problems, needs, and pain points
  
• 2-4 years of related work experience
  
• a blend of creative and technical skills
  
• organizational skills that enable you to effectively conduct data gathering sessions and structure the data into meaningful outputs
  
• excellent teamworking skills
  
• verbal communication skills, as you present your research findings and the reasons behind your design decisions
  
• strong written communication skills, as you may be involved in writing customer-facing copy
  
• creativity and innovation, to come up with new ideas
  
• enthusiasm for design and technology
  
• knowledge of technical languages such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, Xamarin, SQL, etc. (you don't have to possess the ability to write code; this is an operational awareness)
  
• experience using prototyping software tools, for example Figma, Axure Pro, or the prototyping tools in Aha Product Management software
  
• understanding if Figma and/or Zeplin is not required, but beneficial
  
• ability to produce creative artifacts is not required, but beneficial (e.g. creative comps).

Compensation: The target salary for this position is $75,000-85,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
