Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in search of a Payroll Tax Analyst in Lake Mary, FL.Summary:Your work will have a direct impact on our reported financial results and ensure compliance with internal controls and external legislation.You will care for a variety of tax paperwork pertaining to Transfer and Acquisitions. Your responsibilities will entail completing tax true-ups, retro tax corrections, and tax setups for remote employees. You will be expected to research and/or analyze employee wage data in order to reconcile the variances caused by system changes, such as work location or home address changes.

Skills

• A Bachelor's degree, or three or more years of relevant work experience
• Three or more years work experience with unemployment tax and multi-state tax
• Experience in HRMS/Payroll processing system applications
• Intermediate, or above, in Excel
• Strong customer service skills (both verbal and written)
• Willingness for flexible scheduling to meet processing demands
• Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results
• Good organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously
