YOUR ROLE

  • Review marketing and advertising assets (e.g. product labels) and advertising media (e.g. print ads, sell sheets) as well as social media content related to multiple brands in Henkel's Beauty Consumer group;
  • Coordinate with R&D and Regulatory colleagues to ensure adequate testing protocols and proper substantiation for all claims on product labels and marketing collateral;
  • Work with Marketing colleagues to ensure all deadlines for review are met;
  • Attend weekly and/or biweekly brand-specific team meetings to discuss and align on assignments;
  • Work with Litigation team on any and all litigation matters related to the brands supported by the paralegal, as appropriate; and
  • Assist in administering commercial contract database.
  • Partner with supervisor to support Henkel's Consumer Brands division's operations as requested;
  • Review various agreements for brands supported by the paralegal, as requested;
  • Assist North American Legal Department personnel with information and document requests;
  • Support Global Legal Department personnel in global legal projects, as requested;
  • Handle miscellaneous information requests from Henkel KGaA and affiliates;
  • Interact with senior professionals in the company; and
  • Provide administrative and database support for Legal Group in Stamford.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required;
  • Notary public certification a plus;
  • At least four (4) years related law firm or in-house experience in Marketing and Advertising law;
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and a willingness to learn other systems, including Henkel's contract management and collateral review software systems;
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands and frequent changes, delays or unexpected events;
  • Position is based in Henkel's Stamford, Connecticut, office, with an option of telecommuting up to 2 days per week.

The salary for this role is $70,000 - 90,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
