Utilize your human services experience as you aid children with mental health difficulties and their families in the Western Massachusetts community!

Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as an Outreach Worker in our Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care Program at Behavioral Health Network!

As an outreach worker in the Intensive Home-Based Therapeutic Care Program, you will get to work directly with youth and their caregivers in the Pioneer Valley and Hampden County. This position will provide direct intervention and supports in the community to the youth and family while working closely with Child and Family therapist as a team.

The Outreach Worker is responsible for nurturing and supporting family engagement, providing life skills coaching, and assisting youth and families with achieving individualized treatment goals. The qualified candidate will also provide advocacy in the areas of health, education, vocation, and legal needs as well as family intervention.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Two years of experience working with children and families.
  • Ability to create and implement strategies to facilitate achievement of agreed upon goals.
  • Skilled in collaborating with the Family Team and state agencies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Valid driver's license (required).
