We are looking for an Order Management Specialist II to join our Drexel Metals team in North Kansas City, MO.

Primary Purpose

Project Manager duties will include the generation of metal roofing products, accessories and custom metal products to include piece counts, & price quotes and order entry for projects from various sources. Daily communication and correspondence will be with Drexel Metals Inc. representatives, roofing distributors and roofing contractors. This position will also work with the Production Manager & Production Planner.

Essential Functions

•Coordinate panel, trim, and edge metal projects (Create PO's, POD's, packing list, etc.)
•Interpret, estimate and communicate daily quotations on projects with metal products andaccessories in the specification or provided details
•Input orders into Stratix - panel, trim, and edge metal projects
•Facilitate how materials are transferred to Drexel Metals-Association of Regional Manufacturers (DM-ARM)
•Prepare Bill of Materials needed to produce projects and reserve on Sales Order
•Organize schedules of DM-ARM and customer for onsite roll forming and/or delivery
•Coordinate returned materials back from DM-ARM after project is complete
•Coordinate invoices and all related signed paperwork back from DM-ARM
•Communicate to customers "up to date" lead-times and production timing
•Send out PRO#'s when available for orders
•Obtaining finalized details on signed estimates
•Follow up on open quotes for resolution to status
•Assist walk-in customers and unsolicited opportunities for quotes.

• Stratix or other current software
• Laptop
• Printer, Scanner, Copier, Fax Machine
• Calculator
• Other standard office equipment.

Working Conditions

This position primarily operates in a typical office setting, on the rare occasion of visiting a customer/contractor's job site. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm, which is subject to change with prior notice.

Physical Requirements
Sitting for extended periods of time, standing, bending, walking, hearing, vision (with color differentiation), ability to lift up to (20) twenty pounds independently.

Desired Minimum Requirements
Education: 4-year degree in project management or professional certification preferred, but not required. High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience: 1-2 years in related industry preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of the metal roofing/construction industries.
Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication, both physically and electronically.
Management Skills: Strong time management and ability to prioritize/balance competing tasks.

Number Supervised: None.

Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
