Description: Our client is currently seeking a Oracle Database Management Analyst
[Jersey City, NJ or New York, NY]

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Oracle, SQL, Sybase, DB2
• Cloud database used internal •Arango database support attached to Asset & Wealth management. Supports various Lines of business.
• Experience with Arango database applications.
• Looking for DBA support.
• Goal of this new hire: Database admin role, any performance related things that need to be address. Open source database, cloud based database.
• This opportunity is great for someone who knows Mongo DBA. Oracle experience is a huge plus.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Your responsibility as a database administrator (DBA) will be the performance, integrity and security of a database. You'll be involved in the planning and development of the database, as well as in troubleshooting any issues on behalf of the users. ... data remains consistent across the database. data is clearly defined. This role leverages the full skillset requirements of a DBA from operational support, data security and performance tuning for our DevOps communities.

This candidate will interface with other infrastructure peers and project management teams and must have high communication and presentation skills.

This is a global team, providing 24x7 support to mission critical financial applications. On-call rotation is required. Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementation, tuning and ongoing administration of multi-regional NoSQL clusters on products such as Hadoop, Mark Logic, MongoDB, Cassandra and Greenplum.
