Ability to perform any task required of an Operator.

Accurately record results for various processes, quality checks, and/or production for assigned area electronically or on a computer.

Acknowledges all alarms, corrects issues, or passes on to the technical/maintenance team.

Completes daily assignments and shift reports accurately.

Completes paperwork legibly and accurately in accordance with ISO requirements where applicable.

Create samples and perform quality control checks to ensure product meets/exceeds standards.

Discards defective tile appropriately.

Ensure finished product transport/packaging requirements are met as appropriate for assigned manufacturing area, including box loading, packaging, labeling, palletizing, and wrapping.

Ensures all safety protocols, which are certified to OHSAS 18001, throughout the plant are adhered to.

Ensures safe, healthy, and organized working environment for all areas. Maintains housekeeping.

Ensures the safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.

Follows standard operating procedures. safe operating practices, and workplace guideline.

Follows the Quality Management System, which is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for operations, including SOP, SPI and Test Methods.

Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.

Knowledge and ability to operate equipment and tools in the assigned area. Performs periodic checks on the process or output, insuring that quality standards are maintained.

Load/unload equipment and machines.

Monitors equipment and/or processes, fixes issues encountered and ensures timely reporting of any unusual problems to supervisor.

Performs all responsibilities required in the Control Plan and records quality checks on Forms.

Performs other related duties as required.

Performs periodic checks on output, insuring that quality standards are maintained.

Stocks lines/machines/shelves with needed materials. Monitor materials levels.

Supports a life long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development and training of other team members.

Takes appropriate actions to ensure that quality tile is not thrown away and feeds any diverted tile back onto the lines as the manufacturing process allows

Transports, weighs, and mixes appropriate ingredients.

Operates motor vehicles, other vehicles, equipment, machinery, or power tools as assigned.

Repairs, maintains, and/or monitors the performance and/or operation of equipment, machinery, and /or manufacturing process as assigned to insure proper function and prevent disruption.

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.

Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move 50 to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate may be exposed to the risk of electrical shock or vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.
