JOB DESCRIPTION

Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.

The Operator role safely and routinely performs assigned production tasks to accomplish jobs in a quick and efficient manner and assists with housekeeping duties per written work instructions for each job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

List the job's essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Include all important aspects of the job -- whether performed daily, weekly, monthly, or annually; and any that occur at irregular intervals.

  • Perform work in a safe manner while following all safety rules.
  • Operate various pieces of equipment to include table saw, planer, router machines, radial arm saw, chop saws, roofing and framing nailers.
  • Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists or other handling equipment to move materials within the facility.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork with minimal errors.
  • Produce product according to tolerances.
  • Perform routine measurements per quality standards.
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
  • Correctly package and label products.
  • Maintain flexibility in job assignment.
  • Assist in plant and equipment maintenance.
EDUCATION
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to use rulers, calipers, scales, and other means of measurement.
  • Ability to read measurements and work through problems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate counts and figures to ensure proper reporting of production and inventory.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective team player, self-motivated, and quick learner.
