As a member of the PMAMC Corporate staff, you will be responsible for improving operational efficiency and effectiveness of PMAMC through enhancing and coordinating service initiatives including the new business takeover process. In this role you will utilize your claims systems knowledge and operational experience to provide technical support and manage the new business installation process. As a primary function of this position you will be responsible to act as a liaison between the new account, Customer Service Center (CSC), and various internal departments for the integration of new accounts. Additionally this position will be responsible for database management and various project initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct the claims file "take-over" process of existing claims files for new accounts to ensure the servicing needs of the TPA client base are met
  • Coordinate and communicate to management and local servicing team new account integration and file acquisition status
  • Identify, research and resolve claim file acquisition concerns (leakage points and bottlenecks) that occur in the take-over process
  • Ensure effectiveness of PMAMC file take-over process through processes and procedures evaluation
  • Conduct analysis of client requests to ensure servicing needs of the TPA client base are satisfied
  • Work in inter-discipline groups to develop solutions to business needs
  • Coordinate PMAMC Service Cycle
  • Provide assistance to the PMAMC Claims Service team in the Stewardship process
  • Ensure various PMAMC client databases are accurate and current through regular review and updating of information
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of PMA work experience in Claims, TPA or CSC functions, Insurance industry coursework desirable.
  • Understanding of PMA operations and processing functions
  • Strong understanding of programming ,data interpretation and configuration
  • Project management experience and the ability to drive projects to completion a plus
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects within required timelines with minimal direct supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally coordinate and complete multiple tasks and projects of differing types and complexity and due dates.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with others
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to make sound business decision based on research and understanding of options
  • Strong computer software skills, proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
  • Willingness to travel for business, less than 10%
