Matrix Providers is potentially hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team of talented professionals who provide healthcare services to our Military Service Members and their families in Bethesda, Maryland.

  • Employment Status: Full time
  • Compensation: This is a salaried position, paid bi-weekly
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30 AM-4:30 PM

Requirements: The Occupational Therapy Assistant must have and meet the following:
  • Degree: Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Certification: Certified through the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of professional experience within the preceding three years working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an occupational therapy assistant.
Job Summary:
  • Provide a full spectrum of occupational rehabilitative services under the plan of care of a credentialed provider.
  • Use assessment tools, intervention techniques, and treatment modalities under the plan of care of a credentialed provider.
  • Use complex/multi-step instructions with patients, caregivers, and other health care professionals and adapt those instructions according to the learning styles of the trainees or individuals receiving the instructions.
  • Identify, recommend and fabricate, as needed, complex adaptive and assistive devices, durable medical equipment, and complex dynamic splinting after consultation with the occupational therapist.
