JOB SUMMARY

Schedules Natural Gas, Condensates, Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) and/or other commercial products from assigned assets to various downstream markets using truck, railcar and pipelines. Builds and maintains relationships with cross functional teams in DCP and with third parties to optimize current positions and generate new business ideas.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Develops and maintains forecasts to manage the nomination cycle for the transportation, storage, fractionation purchase and sales of assigned products for assigned assets and products via truck, railcar and/or pipeline
• Prepares daily, weekly and monthly forecasts for Marketers and / or Traders
• Monitors and tracks actual flows/deliveries vs. nominations and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to monitor, manage and resolve various issues
• Maintains storage balances and works with customers to ensure contractual requirements are met
• Collaborates with operations, marketing and trading to manage day to day scheduling activities for assigned products and for assigned assets
• Communicates with operations, truck and rail carriers, pipelines, suppliers, marketing, shippers, traders, fractionators and other internal / external customers to resolve any nomination, confirmation, scheduling and operational issues.
• Identifies potential capacity constraints and works with URL blocked - click to applyto develop solutions.
• Monitors, maintains, reconciles and resolves discrepancies / issues for nominations vs actual deliveries associated with take-in-kind customers, supply, transportation, buy/sell and exchange agreements
• Provides daily nominations setup and/or Gas Control Reports to each assigned DCP Facility(s) to ensure flow of information 24 hours a day to maintain safe, efficient, and dependable product flows.
• Communicates with traders, commercial, suppliers, and/or markets to update positions
• Monitors 3rd party pipeline Electronic Bulletin Boards for alerts and/or critical notices of maintenance.
• Reconciles and/or actualizes month end, receipts, deliveries, line-fill and inventory positions for accounting close and collaborates with accounting to resolve any discrepancies
• Collaborates with cross functional teams to resolve scheduling and settlement issues
• Handles established SOX processes, including reconciliation of scheduled volumes with third parties
• Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
• 2 years related experience is preferred Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across broad organization
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Additional desired qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Right Angle, QLM, TMS, Allegro, Aligne and Microsoft software packages
  • Knowledge of nomination, confirmation, and allocation procedures
  • Familiarity with nominating on third party pipelines
  • Flexible and adaptable to rapid and continuous changes in the work environment

SPECIAL DEMANDS

• This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
• Availability to work after hours and weekend to manage nomination changes and address operational issues is required
• Occasional travel may be required.
