Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly - $42.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Network Engineer II to work on a fully remote schedule on EST hours.
Position: Network Engineer II
Location: 100% REMOTE
Interview Process: Two rounds
Required Skills:
- Network Engineering Experience: At least 3 years in a network engineer role.
- Server Patching: Proficiency in patching at the server level. This is a significant aspect of the role.
- Windows Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot Windows-based systems.
- Documentation: Experience documenting procedures. Given that this is a new program, strong documentation skills are essential.
- Physical Access Control: Familiarity with physical access control systems such as AMAG, Genetec, and Biometrics.
- Security Applications: Competence in installing and configuring security applications.
- Server Procurement: Experience procuring servers and defining specifications.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with other teams for deployments.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows environments, with some exposure to Linux.
- Cloud Knowledge: Any cloud experience is a plus.
- Vendor Interaction: Will collaborate with vendors for break/fix scenarios.
- Server Inventory Management: Responsible for managing server inventory.
- Off-Hours Work: May be required to work off-hours during outages.
