National Program Manager (20032569)
The National Program Manager - RST will support the Director of RST and the wider Center of Excellence team in the execution of refreshes, remodels and strategic initiatives that support top-level business objectives. They will have the opportunity to work across select business verticals to ensure the coordination and construction of refreshes, remodels and strategic initiatives align with branding, account for technology innovations, and can be replicated across the globe on-time and on-budget. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the Continental US near a major airport.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
In addition to following Chipotle's policies and procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Â·Ensure restaurant concepts, designs, innovations, refreshes, and remodels are built-out on budget and meet departmental goals and completion dates.
Â·Assist in establishing and monitoring national program budgets, specifically involving the construction trades and General Contractors and Sub-Contractors fees and programs.
Â·Evaluate and assess opportunities for improved cost efficiencies, as they relate to construction trades and General Contractors and Sub-Contractors processes and procedures.
Â·Collaborate with other field-based construction managers, design managers and Ops Services Team on all construction efforts.
Â·Support roll-out of special initiative projects and national programs impacting the restaurant environment and collaborate with necessary interdisciplinary partners to complete.
Â·Review proposed restaurant layouts and initiative requirements (i.e. installation of new equipment) to create master construction schedules and timelines for national programs.
Â·Educate and manage external support resources (General Contractors and Sub-Contractors) in executing various national roll-out programs (i.e. Dish Sanitizer installations).
Â·Collaborate with Chipotle RST Design Managers to educate and support program designs; the Architectural / Engineering partners designing various national roll-out programs.
Â·Partner with Property and Facility Managers to identify existing restaurant conditions and integrate relevant maintenance and repair work into national roll-out programs as applicable.
Â·Support the Design and Construction yearly, quarterly, & monthly objectives, including maintaining relationships with architecture, construction, design and operations consultants.
Â·Partner with Director of RST other Development teams to ensure new concepts are appropriately translated into national roll-out programs.
Â·Assist the team in building-out, deploying and scaling all aspects of the in-restaurant guest experience.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE
Â·5+ years of progressive construction experience in Restaurant and/or Retail, including all types of projects, from ground-ups to remodels.
Â·Proficiency in applicable construction industry tools (Excel, Word, Tririga, etc).
Â·Demonstrate an understanding and experience in restaurant operations. Experience in managing national roll-out programs.
Â·Ability to work independently on all aspects and stages of the execution of refreshes, remodels and strategic initiatives. Be able to evaluate all project costs relative to construction and national roll-outs. Effective communication and advanced project management skills. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Have solid planning, collaboration and decision-making skills.
