Motor Vehicle Mechanic

Fayetteville, NC

Contract Position

At Moseley we are supporting the tip of the spear with our roles working directly for the prime on the SOFSA contract. The efforts of our employees are the key to the success of our military's special operation units across the globe. The prime contractor for executing the largest service contract vehicle, which provides a wide range of tailored contractor logistics support services to the Command's Special Operations Forces (SOF) service components and warfighters worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion engines for military and commercial wheeled vehicles
• Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required
• Replacing worn or broken parts such as brakes, gaskets, engine parts, A/C component parts, and generator parts.
• Perform maintenance on transmissions and repairing fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• Must have a Secret Clearance
• Requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent
• Must be familiar with military equipment such as the HWMMV, LMTV, FMTV, and possess general diesel engine knowledge
