Job Summary
This position is responsible for the day to day maintenance services of 30-40 properties. The services include all building operations which consist of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter replacement, 24/7 on call emergency response and assisting with any bank sponsored special projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 30 - 40 property locations, visit every assigned location at least once a month and perform a property check list. (Including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC filter changes, keeping mechanical rooms clean and free of branch items). Report any major building structural defects to the property manager for further investigation. Maintain communication with the branch management team during the monthly visit to see if any additional facility help may be required.
  • Respond and/or correct all service requests sent in for their assigned locations within a 48 hour period. Close out all services tickets once the work has been performed in a timely manner. Perform emergency after hours work as dispatched by the property manager and/or corporate security.
  • Supply the property manager with weekly reports outlining services performed for that week. Complete and submit weekly expenses for approvals.
  • Maintain a company owned maintenance van and make sure that it is stocked with required parts.
  • Help out during any type of construction project and/or renovation as directed by the property manager. This will usually include after hour required work as to not disrupt the business units work day. Support special projects, such as carpet replacements and lighting upgrades.
  • Relocate staff members to new assigned locations (includes desk set-ups, moving boxes, relocating file cabinets).
  • Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Completes all required compliance training. Maintains knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Takes responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required.
  • A valid Michigan driver license with a good driving record is required. A chauffeurs or CDL endorsement is preferred.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC training classes are helpful prior to starting this position.
  • 0-4 years minimum field experience required to start this position.
  • The job requires significant physical exertion and stamina such as repeated bending, reaching, climbing, or moderate and frequent lifting.
