VCA Devotion Animal Hospital located in Santa Rosa, CA is looking for a Medical Director who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

Our hospital has multiple fear-free certified employees and strives to create an environment that supports the culture of fear free. The practice has multiple pieces of specialty equipment including: rigid endoscopy, manual ventilation, oxygen cage, TPLO equipment and stem cell. Our facility also has state of the art ultrasound and digital radiology. The office is open Sunday through Friday and offers a flexible 4 day/ 10 hour per day schedule.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated veterinarian to continue practicing medicine while establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital like a practice owner. Plus, you'll have the solid backing of experts in Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Payroll, and more, to help you succeed.

Located an hour south of San Francisco in the heart of wine country, Santa Rosa is 45 minutes east of the beautiful California coastline. There are numerous hiking/biking trails, art galleries, restaurants, wineries and so much more. Amongst all of the traditional schooling available, Santa Rosa offers bilingual elementary schools, Art Quest for visual and performing arts, STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) programs and multiple Magnet based High schools where students can complete their first year of college while still in High School. The median home price in Santa Rosa is 580,000 and there are many, many styles of residential architecture and houses ranging from Palladian and Prairie to Craftsman and Colonial, Farmhouses and Federal Colonials to Mid-Century Modern and Mediterranean style.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $64,480 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
