Basic Job Functions:
Mechanical maintenance is responsible for providing maintenance support to plant operations, understanding and maintaining hydraulic, cooling, lubrication and environmental control systems, overhead cranes, equipment alignments, water treatment facilities and any other duties as assigned. Must also possess welding and fabrication skills.Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Two-year degree in mechanical maintenance and/or 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
2. Knowledge of Maintenance Management System
