ABOUT LPS PROJECTS GROUP
The Lifecycle Performance Services department, initiated in 2018, supports customers in logistics and warehouse distribution/fulfillment industries throughout their facility's lifecycle. Services include warranty, maintenance, system assessment, tech support, spare parts, and retrofit services. The LPS Projects Group focuses on optimizing, adding to, retrofitting, and upgrading customer conveyor systems, specializing in equipment types like automated sorters, singulators, gappers, extendable conveyors, and transport conveyors. Projects range from small equipment swaps to complete subsystem installations.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Mechanical Design Engineer works closely with a Mechanical Project Engineer and other Mechanical Design Engineers to successfully and timely complete the mechanical engineering portion of the projects. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for reviewing all project documents, customer standards permit drawings, and other relevant documents to meet or exceed customer and government specifications to create fabrication and installation drawings and details under the direction of a Project Engineer.
