Martin Marietta is currently looking for a Mechanic, this position will beresponsible for diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment used at our Stamper Mine Location in Kansas City Missouri.
Essential Functions
- Maintain heavy mobile equipment with both gas and diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair equipment on site
- Perform data entry on all services performed
- Maintain parts inventory and order supplies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma, GED or Equivalent experience required
- Heavy Equipment Operations
- Welding Experience
- 2 year degree in related field
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
- Attention to Detail

This job operates 100% of the time in an underground or surface mine setting.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position that regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
