Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship trained Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our Waco practice. This position offers the potential for department/division leadership and a comprehensive range of personalized, high-risk obstetrical care and works closely with referring obstetrical care providers in a multidisciplinary approach that caters specifically to high-risk pregnancies.

The Opportunity:

The department of OB/GYN at our Waco campus is comprised of 14 board certified physicians covering all subspecialties. We are seeking a second Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to work with like-minded professionals in a fully integrated health system.

  • BC/BE - Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Expanding and growing MFM practice
  • Department/Division Leadership potential
  • Fetal Echo experience preferred
  • Outpatient and hospital based consultative practice with excellent clinic support team
  • Large referral base of almost 15 obstetricians, performing average of 2800 deliveries a year
  • Resident teaching and mentoring
  • Focus on quality of care, reasonable patient volume expectations with ability to increase quickly
  • Multidisciplinary care for maternal and fetal care
  • Full complement of Maternal Fetal Medicine services including Level II ultrasound and fetal echocardiogram, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (amniocentesis, CVS)
  • MFM call to be shared among 2 perinatologists

QUALIFICATIONS

Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty or board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
