SARSTEDT, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of laboratory consumables, medical devices and instruments, is looking for a Material Handler in Receiving to join them in the Newton, NC office. The Material Handler will be responsible for receiving, maintaining, and organizing Production inventory. This is a second shift position. Hours are 2:30PM-11:00PM.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as apparent or required by management.
- Responsible for loading trucks and delivering products to appropriate department or storage area. Fills in as needed in Packing and Interim Warehouse department (cross-training required).
- Maintains and organizes inventory.
- Completes orders in material bins.
- Works according to safety regulations at all times and reports unsafe conditions immediately.
- Contributes to keeping the warehouse areas clean and organized.
- Completes administrative duties such as data entry and resolving minor issues.
