ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
• Operate a Powered Truck / Fork Truck (stand up and sit down)
• Capable of basic math skills plus knowledge of decimals
• Troubleshoot returned/damaged material
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons
• Have computer and keyboard proficiency to work within a windows environment: SAP
• Ensure that shipments match the customer order and determine the best packaging option
• Maintain good housekeeping in shipping/receiving
• Able to learn multiple processes and fill in where needed
• Responsible for processing daily shipments and verifying the accuracy of receipt to purchase orders. identify and report shortages, damaged goods, or other discrepancies
• Able to participate and contribute in a team environment
• Work with minimal or no supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Basic math and communication skills
• Computer and keyboard proficiency to work within a windows environment
• Powered truck certification
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Able to work 3rd shift
