As a Customer Logistics Coordinator, internally referred to as Material Follow Up Coordinator, you will receive training and support from your managers to complete defined processes that drive business excellence. You must be comfortable with fast paced changes and adapt support client needs. This is a high growth opportunity and with a solid track record will you have to opportunity to move into management roles and beyond.

Position Details & Preferred Skillset:

  • The successful candidate will be customer-service oriented and have the drive for career progression
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, work with a team and be flexible with work schedule
  • As the Customer Logistics Coordinator - MFU, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Monitor global inbound and outbound shipments for direct and indirect material via air, ocean, rail, and over-the-road transportation modes.
  • Maintain, analyze, and reduce premium freight spending
  • Monitor supplier schedules and shipments to protect assembly plant production
  • Manage successful supplier relationships and process requests for escalation to the customer for corrective action.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Manage, track, and drive continuous improvement in our customers material flow operations
  • Some weekends are required

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • One (1) year or more administrative experience preferred. preferred
  • Five (5) years or more relevant experience strongly recommended. preferred
