Position Summary:

  • Seeking a Supply Chain Master (Product) Data Analyst who will support the Supply Chain scope of operations in managing system-wide Product related information, compliance, and other analysis.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Program management and master data management team
  • Previous work experience may include working tools like SAP ECC, APO, MDG, MDM, Informatica MDM, PLM systems
  • Architect MDM and implement MDM solutions and ability to designing custom solutions and processes in MDM to help extend the functionality
  • Work closely with product/offering management, Business Solution Architects and product development to interview, research, analyze, and derive business, functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the product and underlying data assets and models/methods.
  • Working with relevant stakeholders, define the solution concept design for custom solutions leveraging platform components, reusable modules and existing product capabilities.
  • Working with relevant stakeholders, create conceptual data models for the solutions.
  • Assist in the planning process by making important tradeoff recommendations between functionality, resources and timing.
  • As needed, participate in the design and testing phases, including design and testing of prototypes and sign-off on acceptance test results to ensure design integrity.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Account teams to understand documentation and training needs. Work with the appropriate teams to deliver the needed materials.
  • Gain an understanding of implementation issues and product improvement opportunities.
  • Provide leadership to the Business Analysis discipline including best practices.
  • Working with other relevant stakeholders, help define standard work and processes and help roll these out to the organization
  • Write Agile style requirements documentation, including features, user stories, epics, use cases, etc.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Supply Chain concepts, procurement, MRP/ERP, transportation, shipping, or business processes/concepts.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP, Planning systems (SAP-ECC, APO) system.
  • Excellent organizational skills, multi tasker.
  • Project Manager able to lead Materials projects across multiple inventory systems.
  • Detail orientated with good analytical skills a must - formulating consistent standards.
  • Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
  • Well rounded with experience in a manufacturing or commercial parts environment, a good understanding of Item details, specification and maintenance and repair parts.
  • Team player and self-motivated with ability to get up to speed quickly.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines - problem resolution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products; especially Excel, with experience in using formulas, functions etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise 7 - 10 years experience work experience Master's in Computer Engineering or Masters in Supply Chain
