The Project Manager I - Account Manager will oversee all project management activities, including creating and ensuring execution according to briefs, timelines and budgets, status reports, and correct workflows including signoffs and quality controls. The Project Manager I will also ensure output is on time, in budget, goes through all approval processes, and, together with key account management, functional leads, and marcom leadership, is on strategy, and meets quality standards.

Additionally, the Project Manager I - Account Manager will:

  • Kick-off projects via strategic and creative brief including goals and metrics, budget planning, timeline and, using project management tools (like Asana) build-out across Marcom functions.
  • Manage all projects pertaining to assigned clients, including weekly status report and status meeting internally and with client; budget controlling; ensuring projects are on strategy, on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, as well as track established efficiency and efficacy metrics.
  • Manage key accounts with internal clients, keep abreast of client's current and future needs, success and satisfaction criteria; advise leads on client relations on MarCom for their projects, advise MarCom leadership on required capabilities and capacities.
  • Conduct research into and create insights into the programs' target groups and stakeholders. Keep abreast of program's relevant current affairs and topics, advising clients and leading strategic planning for projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or other related educational background.
  • MarCom campaign/project management (includes budget, timeline, quality control) experience for B2B programs/projects on regional and national level.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • General knowledge of climate and environmental, air quality challenges.
  • General knowledge of current transportation challenges and developments.
  • Experience with data analysis.
  • Research skills.
  • MS suite proficiency.
  • Experience with project management software like Asana or Monday.com.
  • Experience with SharePoint.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree.
  • International and/or nonprofit and/or work with the public sector.
  • Experience working in the transportation sector.

CALSTART includes the complete salary range amount $62,000-$81,840 of the job announced. We determine pay based on education, experience, internal equity, and any other factors relevant to the job. Pay for this role will typically be from $62,000-$68,200.
