Job Summary

The Marketing Associate will support the Restorative Flow Therapies - Vascular global business unit and help to drive growth and support the business needs. This will include both upstream and downstream marketing activities. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company's vision and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product support gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
  • Help generate 'Demand' for the portfolio both internally and with key external partners
  • Create sales and marketing collateral including, but not limited to, brochures, advertisements, websites, value-added services, and social media programs that generate leads and facilitate the selling process while being consistent with the branding strategy. Help to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Manage the regulatory/medical/legal approval process to ensure that all communications and tools are compliant with internal SOPs.
  • Help to support product launches including working with internal partners including Sales, Communications and other cross-functional team members
  • Partner with other internal stakeholders (e.g. Intellectual Property, Regulatory, R&D) to develop messaging that is compliant and consistent with brand strategies.
  • Help support promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
  • Attend and support company sponsored events such as trade-shows and commercial events, operations forecasting
  • Sales analysis for targeting, gap reports, market trends (ASP erosion, unit volume change), etc.
  • Work with internal partners to maintain current brochures (choose to obsolete, remove obsolete part numbers, execute a refresh)
  • Tradeshow execution - what to exhibit, workshops, advertisements
  • Assist with social media strategy
  • Is required to manage multiple projects with a focus on high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
  • Sales support, demo & sample management
  • May perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor Level of Degree in the Marketing or related field of study
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience
  • Medical Device experience preferred
Skills/Knowledge
  • Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Microsoft Project a plus, any design ability a plus
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must be comfortable challenging current thinking and be flexible to adapt to changing regulations, business needs and priorities.
  • Self-starter that is able to work well within the group environment. Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to excel in a team environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • This position requires some travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally
