Position Purpose:
Support the Marketing Manager in coordination and completion of all marketing communications for Trailer division, including media research, analysis and planning, promotional collateral, advertising, videos, trade show coordination and other related marketing communication activities. Assist with additional project management of key marketing plans, sales support, and project and administrative support as needed.

Essential Functions:
1. Actively participates as a key member of the Trailer Systems Group Marketing team.
2. Regularly works with the Marketing Communications Department to develop collateral, advertising, literature (brochures, application guides, specification sheets), presentations website content, brochures, social media posts, targeted email campaigns, trade show participation and other marketing materials to support key divisional initiatives. Track progress and inform Marketing Manager of project status.
3. Manages organization and archiving of marketing literature and sales support materials, updates marketing reference materials on a regular basis. Manages marketing literature, including approval process, web site verification, and product model files. Manages databases used to distribute customer communications and updates accordingly. Maintain customer and competitor market-based information databases and all other related content on Trailer Marketing SharePoint site.
4. Act as liaison to Product Development Teams to successfully initiate and implement changes to promotional material as required in accordance with SPS and SPPD programs. Assist Program Managers on writing product announcements, product updates, including distribution. When required, supports new and current product initiatives by assisting with development and execution of product launch strategies and existing product promotions in accordance with SPPD Matrix deliverables.
5. Act as liaison to Sales team by providing assistance with presentations, trade show scheduling, on-site trainings, product information, and other requests as needed to facilitate sales goals and customer communications.
6. Supports annual marketing plan through management of promotional activity calendars and coordination. Provide consistent intra-company communication supporting project management, sales, technical service and engineering related activities. Coordinates information from Sales and Marketing personnel and organizes this into homogenous communications materials (i.e. newsletter, announcements, product launch information, bulletin boards, sales tools, etc.). Maintains regular contact with the Sales Organization, keeping them up to date on new announcements, providing support materials and emphasizing key areas of focus to support sales objectives.
7. Organizes monthly, quarterly and annual results and prepares appropriate reports as required for the department. Conducts demand planning and market analysis activities as needed to support department.
8. Special marketing project support as required (i.e. direct mail programs, surveys, research). Additionally, supports corporate or divisional initiatives as needed (product training, special events, etc.)
9. Other duties as assigned (e.g. provide assistance in managing marketing programs, developing metrics, department process improvement efforts, reporting trends and meeting customer requirements including but not limited to competitor share, Hendrickson market share, media and website analytics, advertising analytics, sales history trends, market survey data and market-based analytics.)

Education and Training:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field required

Minimum Qualifications:
• Sales and/or Marketing experience in transportation industry or engineered products preferred
• Strong editing, copywriting, and proofreading skills required
• Mechanical aptitude a plus
• Computer literate - Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
• Additional computer literate skills with KBM/AS400, Showcase Strategy, and InDesign a plus
• Light to moderate travel as required - under 25%
• All other job duties as assigned

Physical Demands:
• Frequent sitting, work at computer for extended periods of time.

Environmental Conditions:
• Office setting.
• Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.
