Basic Job Function:

The position supports the Director of Market Planning in the accomplishment of the goals for the Identity product suite in the Health Care business unit of LexisNexis Risk Solutions. This candidate will provide input and vision for the product strategy. They will support the strategic and tactical go-to-market direction for Identity products, along with the execution of strategy goals. They will be expected to facilitate action in the accomplishment of those goals, in line with the overall market vision to ensure maximum revenue growth for those solutions. Supporting cross-market sales groups and providing leadership within the healthcare business of LexisNexis Risk cross functionally to create, sell, and deliver the Identity product line, the candidate will enable increased market penetration and develop expertise in the emerging areas of healthcare.

Candidate must excel at performing market and competitive analysis, identifying implications and quickly communicating significant and actionable recommendations in the areas of market position, pricing, product enhancement and delivery. The candidate will be expected to monitor competition and provide in-depth research to internal stakeholders to ensure product solutions lines remain competitive in the market.

Accountabilities:

  • Provide strategy support and subject matter expertise for identity products.
  • Understand current and anticipate future government regulations, business trends, economies of scale and technological advancements that may impact the product line; leveraging this knowledge, create and update product and go to market strategy to build a leadership position within the industry
  • Serve as a client facing SME on the capabilities of Identity product line and how it relates and impacts the current market
  • Help develop strategy for the solution line, by helping develop vision and market/product specific input based on their experience
  • Facilitate action to accomplish product strategy by working within a cross functional team (finance, product development, marketing, sales) to execute go to market strategies aligned with overall Identity strategy
  • Ensure the proper execution of strategic product plan
  • Responsible for ensuring through the market area strategy, develop recommendations for new product concepts and existing product modifications in line with the market area strategy
  • Conduct market and competitor research in order to identify trends and implications to the market area strategy including market sizing and other qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Develop and recommend sales channel strategy utilizing market research and data and competitive analysis
  • Establish and maintain appropriate communications within and between various business units and functional areas within the market area of responsibility
  • Initiate and develop pricing strategies and policies; recommend pricing actions and promotional programs in support of market area strategy and revenue plan
  • Develop go to market materials such as Sales training, proposal templates, ROI calculators, and pitch decks
  • Perform other duties as requested by Director of Market Planning for LexisNexis Healthcare Identity


Qualifications:
  • Requires a Bachelor's or equivalent experience. MBA or relevant master level degree preferred.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years professional experience in a product management, marketing, analytical or consultative role required. Experience in healthcare data and/or identity fraud preferred.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong qualitative research and quantitative analytical skills, strong written and oral communication, the ability to work independently and with individuals at all levels across a matrixed organization, and the ability to manage multiple, changing priorities with flexibility.
  • Must be able to thrive in a team environment, by contributing expertise as well as soliciting/integrating input from subject matter experts throughout the company.
  • Strong working knowledge of tools and techniques for gathering and disseminating competitive intelligence information and appropriate application to specific assignments necessary.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
