JOB TITLE/LOCATION:
Manufacturing Technician – Belton, SC
DESCRIPTION:
Dodge Mechanical Power Transmission is seeking Manufacturing Technicians to join our Belton, SC manufacturing facility. Our Manufacturing Technicians will be responsible for operating machining equipment to produce Quality parts according to required specifications. They will work with little to no supervision as they interpret blueprints, use handheld tools and measuring equipment as required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints preferred.
- Previous CNC machining experience or Technical certificate required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to download machine programs is a must.
- Able to handle heavy lifting involved.
- Gage reading experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills (including knowledge of positive/negative numbers and decimals) are required.
- Experience with metric conversions preferred.
- Able to participate and contribute in a team environment.
- Able be willing to learn multiple processes.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED.
