FOR INTERNAL EMPLOYEES ONLY: INTERNAL REQ #3004 Reporting to Emmett Kiritsy on 1st shift supporting production, fabrication and engineering.

  • Job Description:
Coordinates all functions related to technical support for specified departments. Assists coach(es) with technical resources necessary to improve efficiencies and quality. Assures that all processes in the technical support areas conform to Liebert Quality System. Assist with corrective action and follows up with quality issues. Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, evaluating and recommending process improvements; time studies; work instructions; assisting with tooling modifications; and assisting with relocating and setting up of stations. Assists coach(es) with the coordination of departmental safety team meetings.
  • Special requirements:
Provides technical support for production. Troubleshoots production problems and contributes to the modification/correction of departmental tasks. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. Must be able to work overtime with short notice.
  • Hand Tools Used:
Depending on operation, will use any and all of power and hand tools needed to complete the task. Training will be provided if necessary for safe and effective use.
  • Machines and Equipment Involved:
Depending on operation, will use any or all of, but not limited to, the following as applicable: brazing equipment, wiring equipment, welding equipment. Training will be provided for certification of such operations.
  • Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Post secondary education and/or specialized mechanical/technical training preferred.
  • Qualifications (skills, work experience):
Demonstrated analytical, innovative, and creativity skills. Self-starter with excellent work records. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the organization. Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong organizational and decision-making skills are necessary. Process improvement, lean manufacturing concepts, computer skills, autocad, and knowledge of the support areas preferred.
