TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer II

LOCATION: Redwood City, CA

HOURS: Full-Time; Mon-Fri (40 hours/week)

DUTIES: Responsible for supporting all manufacturing processes and providing technical support to the Manufacturing Team. Provide Floor support for process/ equipment related issues. Perform hands on executions of manufacturing-related engineering projects. Monitor equipment performance. Identify equipment issues and engineer potential solutions. Leans investigations, CAPAs, and product impact assessments related to manufacturing processes. Track, trend, and analyze in-process data using statistical process control (SPC) methods. Provide engineering solutions to manufacturing challenges and meet all safety, quality, supply requirements. Provide oversight of manufacturing engineering projects and represent MFG department for project updates. Communicate with accurate updates on timelines, resources, and deliverables. Employ Good Engineering Practices to streamline project executions. Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and Directives, site Standard Operating Procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practice (cGMPs, GAMP, ITIL, PMI).

REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as a Process Engineer or in a related occupation. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience. Must possess five (5) years of experience (or three (3) with a Master's) with all of the following: Utilizing SQL programming to query historian databases and collect process data; Building Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards using visualization tools including Power BI , SSRS; Applying project management principles and project lifecycle for execution of capital projects; Leading process and safety risk assessments (process hazard analysis, failure mode analysis, and LOTO practices); Leading, assessing and managing change controls for execution of site projects; Building and analyzing process trends on ActiveFactory/OsiSoft Pi for equipment issues and troubleshooting; Utilizing Rockwell Allen Bradley HMI navigation, functionalities and programming; Using SAP tools for material management and PM services; and Working in chemical unit operations including mixing tanks, dryers and cyclones.

SALARY RANGE: $155,958 - $155,958/year

The annual base salary (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $155,958 to $155,958. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
