Come join the Legal Risk Management team to lead the Risk Intelligence and Issues Management functional strategy and the day-to-day management of a high-performing team. In this role you will serve as a subject matter expert to design, implement, and manage risk intelligence, reporting, and the issues management lifecycle. This includes oversight of the risk intelligence reporting, risk metrics framework, and issues management framework. This role will require strong relationship-building, leadership, and communication skills to bring together stakeholders throughout Meta's cross-functional groups. Candidates should be energized by continuous personal improvement, proactively seek out new skills and perspectives, and reviewing the work of and contributing to the development of the Risk Intelligence and Issues Management team. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy and will be empowered to shape the program you oversee. Manager, Risk Intelligence and Issues Management Responsibilities:

• Set the overall strategy for the Risk Intelligence and Issues Management team within Legal Risk Management
• Lead by setting strategy and optimizing the Issues Management framework currently in place at Meta
• Ensure risk information is structured in such a way to produce meaningful risk reporting and, where relevant, regulatory requirements to satisfy reporting requests
• Define roles and accountabilities for all members of the Risk Intelligence and Issues Management teams and that personal development plans are in place to enable smooth achievement of departmental goals
• Develop and/or support training initiatives to strengthen first line and second lines of defenses' risk acumen on Issues Management
• Leverage existing GRC system and other risk tooling to support the strategy for designing risk reporting
• Deliver reports to the leadership on various risk profiles
• Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams spanning risk identification, controls management, assurance, and risk tooling teams to identify opportunities to enhance and streamline program initiatives
• Form an annual operating result delivered to leadership and relevant stakeholders for further decision-making and strategy formulation on the control environment
• Monitor trends and patterns across product, regulatory environment, and screening landscape to design and implement risk reporting for key stakeholders (Corporate Compliance and Ethics executive leadership, Legal leadership, and Risk Committees or Forums)
• Help Meta ensure that its risk intelligence team achieves its mission to "make the world more open and connected"

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 12+ years' experience in a risk management and/or data management discipline
• Experience leading an Issues Management function, related processes, data and technology controls, and updating ongoing frameworks
• Experience managing teams
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, demonstrating impact, and influencing organizational change
• Track record of working in a collaborative, team-based environment to solve business challenges and drive change in large organizations
• Experience working in support of diverse communities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in business or accounting
• Experience working at a big four accounting firm
