Last Mile Dedicated Delivery works on fulfilling customer demand for everything in the store at the comfort of their home. As a Senior Manager, you will be key to growing our Last Mile Dedicated Delivery program. The Last Mile Dedicated Delivery team is focused on building out new propositions to fulfill the delivery segment from Walmart directly to the end consumer. You will be responsible to own and set up supplier contracts for Walmart's last mile, along with managing vendor relations, negotiations and tracking performance. You will also be responsible to inform our sourcing strategy. You will be a key player in growing Last Mile Dedicated Delivery program and connecting our stores to our customers. This includes, but not limited to, managing workstreams related to Product, Reporting, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Strategy & Finance.

What You Will Do:

• Own contract negotiations, vendor on-boarding and day-to-day operations (invoicing, claims reconciliation)
• Track and monitor carrier performance metrics, and driver process improvements both internally and with external partners
• Be a critical stakeholder in vendor management, conducting Vendor RFP, selection, and negotiations
• Own and drive initiatives with cross-functional collaboration across product, operations, stores, strategy, and analytics teams.
• Ensure operational readiness to support various last mile initiatives.
• Support product planning & prioritization for quarterly and yearly roadmaps that align with strategic goals
• Manage business cadences with suppliers (setting up MBR/QBR)

• You have experience working in Contract management, Tracking driver routes and escalating concerns internally/externally, Driver account management, Executing ticket creation and tracking for completion, Invoicing & Claims Reconciliation, Analyzing data and calling out key trends, Vendor Management, Rate card set up, Contract Negotiation, Vendor MBR, QBR, New partnerships & pipeline, Vendor RFP, selection & Vendor Onboarding
• Experience working with third parties/contractors working with vans within LMD logistics
• Understand the nuances of Product Development and embrace collaboration tools that empower remote teams to work closer together

What you need:

• 6+ years of experience in areas of operations, logistics, retail or e-commerce at a fast-growing company or management consulting at a top-tier firm
• Experience with managing vendors, setting up contracts, negotiations, managing supplier performance and conducting business reviews
• Demonstrate the ability to work with stakeholders but also move fast by removing barriers
• Resourceful self-starter who can drive projects autonomously
• Thrive in fast-moving environments, comfortable with ambiguities, and taking decisions independently
