Job Summary
The Manager, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) is accountable for facilitating risk-aware business decision-making in which business objectives are balanced with Global Information Security and Technology Program objectives to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of data and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee internal technology control testing and gap assessments for the global company.
  • Issues clear and concise reports, using data, technology, and visualization tools to communicate results effectively.
  • Evaluates risks and develops security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks.
  • Implements security controls, risk assessment framework, and program that align to regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively informs senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and governance requiring prompt attention.
  • Partners with SOX control owners on implementing and validating technology controls.
  • Track exceptions to the governance program and drives remediation planning.
  • Maintains the IT risk management portfolio, which includes the Vertiv risk register, facilitates the identification of key controls, and key processes for testing controls.
  • Manages the Vertiv common controls framework to ensure relevant internal and external information security requirements are mapped to risks and adequately tested.
  • Ensures the execution of streamlined assessments on all delivery projects through close collaboration with delivery organizations and subject matter experts.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to mature processes, deepen engagement with partners, and mature control health across the IT ecosystem governed by Global Information Security.
  • Leverages tools and technologies including Service Now GRC capabilities to streamline and mature risk assessment activities.
  • Creates relevant metrics and executive level presentation materials.
  • Supports the development and implementation of security awareness training, and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or similar certification required.
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Tools / Product (Loopio, Auditboard, Onetrust) knowledge is a plus.
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive IT program or project work experience.
  • Experience with implementing controls adhering to IT and compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaming skills incorporating global cross-functional teams, peer relationships, informing, and understanding and appreciating differences.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, presentation, and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive change across a complex organization, through multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated experience in meeting tight deadline in a very dynamic environment.
  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to advise and consult with business and technical professionals.
