Help us continue to strengthen our employee communities at PayPal by leading communications for ourdiversity and belonging, Community Impact and Employee Resource Groups and supporting global internal content.As part of our team, you will lead and execute communications on behalf of ourBelonging and Employee Resource Group program and Community Impact efforts with employees companywide.You will also play a key role in developing content for our internal channelsin these areas and other people team related topics.This role is critical to ensuring employees areinformedon our initiatives andpeople-basedprograms,engagedin our culture and community, andinspiredby the role they play in furthering PayPal's vision, and values. You will work with stakeholders across the company and the Corporate Affairs organization as well as members of the executive team to drive communications planning, content, and channel strategy to most effectively communicate and engage with employees.

What you will do:

  • Create and execute a proactive and connected strategy around how we communicate the Belonging, ERG and Community Impact programs overall, with key moments aligned as part of the larger program
  • Source and create content across our internal channels; innovate on our internal channel strategy in partnership with our Global Content team
  • Maintain and build on Center of Excellence model forculture, people related, andERG communications, with guidelines, process and reviews, along with customizable templates and materials
  • Lead the review and approval process for team and stakeholder communications
  • Counsel executive leaders and partners
  • Support local communications as needed
  • Support employee communications distribution and team organization
  • Measure the impact of communications in driving overall employee engagement
  • May on occasion include nights and weekends

Qualities of the right candidate for this role:
  • A minimum oftwo - five yearsin internal communications for a globally dispersed workforce.Experience with people (HR), culture, and diversity/belonging communications is a plus.
  • Extremely proactive in identifying communications needs and jumping into solve them.
  • Excellent writer, who can make and can articulate complex ideas simply, creatively and with heart.
  • Passion for Inclusion, Community Impact, and building community among employees
  • Comfortable and effective in serving as a strategic communications partner to senior leaders; able to confidently offer ideas and negotiate communication plans, both verbally and in writing.
  • Creative and engaged in new forms of digital content and communications channels.
  • Ability to embrace ongoing change, pivot quickly, and effectively deliver against tight deadlines; demonstrate flexibility, resilience, and grace under pressure.
  • Enjoy both strategizing and "rolling up your sleeves" to execute plans.
  • Highly organized and able to effectively juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Diplomatic, with the ability to identify and manage organizational and cultural sensitivities.
