What We Do

Visible Alpha enhances the investment research process by extracting meaningful analyst models, and research reports through valuable partnerships with the world's premier investment research organizations. Our deep consensus data provides financial recommendations on companies and industries at a level of granularity and timeliness and that has never before been possible.

What You'll Do

  • Grow book of accounts - takes initiative in developing regional account strategies and plans to execute content acquisition and retention strategy across assigned territory;
  • Engage with Directors of Research, Heads of Operations, Heads of Sales & other key stakeholders at investment banks & independent research providers to pitch the value proposition across the Visible Alpha product suite to secure distribution rights for analyst models, written research & events data;
  • Work alongside Director of Contribution Relations to build a high performing team that maximizes effectiveness and efficiency, particularly lending support to the onboarding of and continuous development of new team members;
  • Lead team efforts in performance data and monitoring and lead by example - delivering pitches to existing contributors & prospects while working effectively with colleagues to communicate contributor needs, product requirements, and competitive gaps;
  • Liaise with Visible Alpha operations team to ensure smooth handover for on-boarding of research content; Provide support to the rest of the team to make sure we deliver first class customer service;
  • Partner with stakeholders across Visible Alpha to drive growth at new and existing contributors, leading key initiatives with minimal support & guidance. Build strong and lasting relationships with internal Visible Alpha clients and the research provider community;
  • Act as the central contact point & relationship manager for designated sell-side accounts.

Who You Are
  • 6+ years of experience working in a sell-side content distribution capacity;
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Prior experience in a content/vendor relationship management role;
  • Product experience in data & analytical solutions focused on capital markets required; experience with data & analytics used in the equity research process a plus;
  • Verifiable history of meeting & exceeding targets;
  • Motivated to manage each stage of the pipeline including prospecting, demonstrations, managing the decision making process, and closing business;
  • Desire to target key contacts both bottom-up (user-by-user) and top-down (executive level). Motivated by bottom-up approach with experience directing senior level conversations;
  • Strong decision making ability, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal, written & interpersonal skills;
  • Must be a self-starter, with a driven and positive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team & on one's own;
  • Goal driven, with the ability to meet internal & external deadlines;

Remuneration:
At Visible Alpha, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $138,000 to $187,000. This role is also eligible for a 20% target bonus. We encourage you to apply for the role even if your compensation expectations are outside of our range.
