Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager Continuous Improvement

What will you do?
  • Responsible for supporting and delivering upon the HSO Continuous Improvement Strategy, leading critical thinking throughout the organization for the continued successful implementation of CI work processes alongside execution of projects and transformation initiatives across Holman
  • Act as an internal consultant who is unafraid to roll up their sleeves and with demonstrated expertise in Coaching, Facilitating or Leading Lean Six Sigma improvement events including: quality, delivery, lead time reduction, capacity creation and customer service experience
  • Work with key business unit partners for the lead and expansion site(s) in the identification and alignment of business productivity priorities, business needs and project opportunities in line with strategic priorities
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop necessary metrics, scorecards, and operating systems to drive sustainability of improvement against the strategic plan
  • Coach individuals in key roles to develop CI proficiency by leveraging formal training, improvement events (learn by doing), and a culture of ongoing mentoring
  • Develop, implement and manage the execution of periodic formal assessments against the Holman Transformation CI framework maturity levels, including KPI performance, consolidating performance metrics, projects, and CI activities.
  • Develop and enhance the methodologies leveraged by the team through external connections, benchmarking and consulting relationships
  • Identify and mentor a pipeline of CI talent which will enable sites and business units to achieve self-sufficiency
  • Lead 3-5 project improvement teams concurrently, potentially at multiple locations (divisional / business unit dependent) to deliver measurable value to the company
  • Support HSO Continuous Improvement knowledge and collaboration initiatives
  • Develop new HSO Continuous Improvement methods, tools and educational materials
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's Degree required in a Technical Discipline
  • Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt certification preferred
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in any Holman business line, two preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of process and system solutions across the company
  • Excellent knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Tools and Methodologies
  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills required
  • Change Management and Facilitation skills
  • Breadth and depth of technical or functional expertise in own area of responsibility or department; may be acquiring knowledge of other related areas of departments
  • Developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to manage project scope and a project team to achieve defined objectives
  • Strong ability to collect and interpret feedback/information to construct emerging solutions
  • Strong ability to analyze data, discover trends and create insights
  • Capable of building a business case to justify a course of action for the recommended solution
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and initiatives
  • Capability to identify risks to a project and build mitigation plans
  • Ability to directly lead project teams
  • Ability to create and sustain relationships and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required (both verbally and written)
  • Present to senior leaderships groups about project progress
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with a remote project team
  • Proven ability to act with sound integrity, tact, and discretion
