Responsible for delivering services that optimize the overall performance of BCN business through providing oversight on operations performance, remediating operational and system issues, driving process optimizations and facilitating governance forums to ensure effective communication and transparency with business partners.

  • Manage project initiatives that have a focus on enhancing BCN business and systems through the established project methodology, track corresponding deliverables and report on progress.
  • Identify issues, risks that may be impacting deliverables and escalate when applicable.
  • Manage or support the Issue Management forum by investigating and documenting issues, ensuring appropriate remediation steps are identified and executed, coordinating identification of short/long term solutions and provide reporting on trends.
  • Schedule ad hoc meetings with the business and/or IT to quickly remediate complex issues.
  • Work with legal, audit, compliance on major issues impacting members, groups, providers or operational areas. Thoroughly document the action plan; identify long term solutions and champion implementation.
  • Manage the BCN Business Process Repository, including development of new process flows, updating existing process flows, ensuring process of storing flows is followed and conducting an audit annually.
  • Provide oversight/support on BCN's leader forum focused on funding projects <$100K to make incremental business and system enhancements and ensure operational leaders vote to approve/deny funding.
  • Coordinate topics, materials and facilitation of BCN Governance Forums.
  • Ensure transparency in operations performance and anything impacting or potentially impacting operational areas in the applicable governance forum.
  • Provide oversight/support of key operational reports related to operations performance and open enrollment and monitor trends.
  • Make recommendations for operational enhancements based on trends or reported issues.
  • Provide leadership, training and expertise to team.
  • Ensure adherence to division and team methodologies, standards, policies and procedures for self and staff.
  • Prepare for annual open enrollment cycle and ensure appropriate areas are aware of key dates and expectations.

"Qualifications"
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in related field required.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Project management familiarity.
  • Knowledge of operations, and experience with change management.
  • Ability to facilitate cross-functional meetings, issue management/risk mitigation.
  • Ability to drive process enhancements.
  • Experience leading complex initiatives (projects, process improvements, etc.).
  • Strong organization, administrative and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Visio skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective self-management, ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage organizational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze projects in collaboration with business owners in conjunction with corporate business goals and in consideration of internal and external factors.

  • Experience with process improvement required
  • Advanced Visio and process documentation skills required
  • Experience with gap analysis and solution identification required
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
