Position: Manager, Advanced Analytics
Job Location: 221 River Street, Hoboken, NJ 07030
Duties: Optimize current reporting structure. Build and maintain automated pipelines and schedules to ensure no disruption in business as usual. Build advanced machine learning models to automate and improve efficiency in data cleansing processes. Work with cross functional teams, gather their requirements, and design new reports as needed. Develop new methodologies for data quality control and perform data quality checks as needed. Build, interpret, quantify, visualize, and communicate the impact of data and other business intelligence into meaningful reporting and analysis for advertisers. Work with large, disparate datasets and other business intelligence sources to conduct ad hoc "back of the envelope" analyses and report on customer insights and advertiser or brand specific performance. Leverage knowledge of SQL, Tableau, and other mainstream reporting and business intelligence tools to aid in the design and development of complex data pipelines to process large datasets. Responsible for the integrity and quality of data marts built to aid in precise reporting for the Marketing and Sales teams. This position does not supervise other employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Data Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in data analytics or related field.
Skills required: Experience building reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI. Experience analyzing data to identify trends and build data pipelines using SQL. Experience building Machine Learning Models to identify abnormalities and predict future trends. Experience building Python scripts to automate data workflows. Experience designing key performing indicators to measure sales growth and identify setbacks. Experience conducting ad-hoc analysis using Excel and Big query to help marketing teams in optimizing ad spend. Experience developing Automation frameworks, Scheduling, and monitoring data workflows using Apache Airflow. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
