Job Details:

This is an internship position responsible for assisting in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Work schedule to be determined by Maintenance Manager and the class schedule of the Intern. Intern cannot work more than 28 hours a week.

*This position is slated for candidates who are currently local to this area. Priority consideration will be provided to these applicants first. If local candidates are not selected, candidates from other areas will then be reviewed for consideration.

Requirements:

Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or applicant must be enrolled in an industrial maintenance educational program.

Communication Skills: Solid communication skills.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills knowledge.

Special Skills: Attention to details; good organizational skills; ability to observe and understand processes; self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams; interest in obtaining a full-time position in with Tyson Foods Inc.

Physical Requirements:
There will be lifting, climbing, walking, standing, bending, working both inside and outside in all weather conditions.
