ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician performs highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic duties.
  • Troubleshoot faulty machinery and make necessary repairs to production machines.
  • Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Document Maintenance and Repairs in GURU.
  • Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate degree (A.S) Industrial Maintenance with 2 years' experience
Or
  • Certificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years' experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
  • Able to respond to common inquiries by members of management, and effectively present information.
  • Must have above average skills in the use and application of word processing and spreadsheet software.
