YOUR ROLE

    • Ensure Safety is considered in every job plan (including permits) and expedite the scheduling of safety-related work
    • Maintain Bill of Materials, Task lists, PM's and select Spare Parts to store for each asset within area of responsibility
    • Scope work and diagnose cause of problem based on work request
    • Determine sequence of activities and estimate labor hours needed to perform each step for each work order
    • Develop weekly work schedules with planned work orders based on agreed priorities and available labor capacities
    • Enable crew efficiency by appropriate grouping of work based on priority, equipment and available labor
    • Review Work Order feedback to improve planning efforts and inform maintenance manager of abnormal or critical situations
    • Create Purchase requisitions for planned work to include services and materials
    • Maintain Master data for functional locations

YOUR SKILLS

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Min 3 years in maintenance
    • Required to routinely work from a step stool, portable ladder. Routinely required to stand or walk over uneven surfaces such as loose rock, open grating, and up and down staircases. Employee may be required to work long periods of time on a computer. Able to work in adverse outdoor weather conditions with summer temperatures greater than 100 degrees F and winter temperatures less than 0 degrees F.
    • The performance of this position normally requires exposure to typical manufacturing areas where under certain conditions the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, arc flash gear, and hygienic precautions, such as hairnets, are required. The work environment is not climate controlled. Noise level in the work environment is normal to moderate. Regular attendance is required. It is the responsibility of each employee to conduct tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety, health, and environmental regulations, company program standards, company policies, and special safety concerns while protecting yourself, the organization, and the environment. You are ultimately responsible for your safety and well-being.
    • Build and Deliver a weekly Job schedule based on current priorities and coordinate with responsible operations teams
    • Build a log of planned work orders (PM and corrective) by scoping jobs to including estimated labor hours and procuring non-stock parts
    • Maintain Master data including Functional Location, BOM and Task Lists
    • Review daily, work order closing/feedback, new notifications and schedule progress
    • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions
