Job Title:Maintenance Engineer

Department:Administration and Planning | FOD Operations Support

The Senior Maintenance Engineer troubleshoots building system operation for current and potential building system maintenance problems. In addition, you will maintain equipment histories as necessary for assigned areas and review plans and specifications. You job responsibilities will also include the following: repair, and address construction projects operational concerns/issues related to maintainability and life cycle costs of building systems and components. You will provide oversight and direction to the preventive maintenance program, recommend improvements to building systems based on data and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience.

• 4 years of relevant experience required.

• Valid Driver's License

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable.

• 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Experience in the following is desired contract management background, knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical equipment and systems, building standards, building systems maintenance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, lubrication techniques and materials, measurement equipment and related recording systems, understand and interpret technical instructions, plan reading.

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or Certified Energy Manger (CEM) certification.
