Salary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $35.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute all tasks in adherence to safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Foster a collaborative "Teamwork" environment.

• Demonstrate self-reliance and the capability to work autonomously.
• Communicate effectively with operators, mechanics, fellow electricians, engineers, supervisors, and Plant leadership.
• Proficiency in utilizing "CMMS" Computerized Maintenance Management System software is advantageous.
• Assemble, install, test, and sustain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and manual tools to identify and rectify breakdown causes.
• Competence in connecting to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), interpreting basic ladder logic, and performing elementary PLC programming.
• Backup and oversee machine software management.
• Adherence to detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, interpreting electrical schematics/blueprints.
• Work efficiently under pressure for diagnostic purposes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Execute necessary job work orders.
• Complete paperwork and computer-related tasks as required.
• Cultivate the habit of documenting work for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Test, maintain, calibrate, program, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control system components using schematics, vendor manuals, and established procedures.
• Competence in troubleshooting and basic programming for various PLC/HMI Platforms (Allen-Bradley, Redlion, Unitronics, Omron PLCs preferred).
• VFD/Servo setup and basic operations understanding.
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of PC hardware, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, utilizing PC and PLC for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AC/DC voltages (5 to 480 volts).
• Familiarity with electrical wiring according to the National Electric Code.
• Proficiency in Instrumentation, motor, and process controls, including Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.

Working Conditions:

• Flexibility to work extended hours and mandatory overtime as needed, including alternating weekends.
• Adaptability to a wet/damp environment with varying temperatures from hot to cold.
• Ability to work independently in demanding conditions.
• Physical capability to perform activities such as lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.

Physical Requirements:

• On-feet activity for a significant portion of the day.
• Ability to lift, pull, push, and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Good hand and eye coordination.
