Position Overview:

• The Maintenance Analyst position is a member of the Services and Standards Organization in MOTIVA's Terminals and Pipelines business. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager.
• The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Analyst is to effectively acquire, analyze, organize and report asset maintenance data to the business at every functional level. Accurate and reliable data enables the business to assess, plan and execute optimal resources to achieve safest, compliant, and lowest total cost to own; operate the assets.
• This position is the focal point for the development of the business's asset master data and implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance across the Terminals and Pipelines. The incumbent is expected to manage the continuous improvement of asset master data that includes the support of integration plans of other business applications to deliver operational excellence. Subsequently, the analyst will be a key support person to train and assist business users of SAP for asset maintenance.
• The incumbent shall have a strong understanding of Maintenance Excellence, its core work processes and business workflows. It is important for the analyst to have a basic awareness and understanding of the business assets, its equipment and processes. Additionally, commercial awareness of asset utilization would benefit the analyst to appreciate the profitability of Terminals and Pipelines assets.
• This position is required to routinely interface with members of maintenance and operations teams, collaborate with cross functional corporate teams and interact with external parties.
• The Maintenance Analyst is expected to work independently and collaboratively across multi-functional teams to deliver excellence in an exciting and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Focal Point for the development and implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance across Terminals and Pipelines business, including systems integration with other platforms (i.e. EAM Infor, Cenosco wIMS, Eclipse PtW and KMS MOC)
• Develop, analyze, and report standard Maintenance Key Performance Indicators with a focus on improving departmental and business unit performance
• Support the implementation and utilization of Maintenance Excellence RCM and Integrity Management (IMP/PEI) work processes
• Coordinate and facilitate recurring interfaces with Maintenance and Operations teams
• Participate and contribute in change management activities with Operation/Maintenance Leaders including Maintenance Specialists, Finance and Purchasing representatives
• Support the continuous improvement of maintenance task types as outlined by the Maintenance Reliability Centered Maintenance Program (i.e. Preventive, Predictive, Corrective and Reactive)
• Plan, track, and ensure completeness of Maintenance Work Order lifecycle in SAP
• Support the development of a Critical Spares Inventory Management program including optimal inventory method, model, quantities on hand, preservation, and re-order management
• Support ad hoc departmental projects which may reach across functional teams including Ops Excellence, Engineering & Projects, Learning, Measurement & Automation, Real Estate, Compliance, etc.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Operations and Maintenance support roles
• Independent working experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as, but not limited to SAP Plant Maintenance, EAM Infor, Maximo, Salesforce and Workday
• Excellent analytical skills; big data manipulation with high performance use of MS Office apps, Power Apps and other analytical, visual applications
• Strong understanding of Maintenance Excellence work processes; i.e. RCM, IMP, and ME
• Strong awareness of HSE (Health Safety and Environment) and PSM (Process Safety Management) including business compliance of applicable jurisdiction/regulations (i.e. DOT PHMSA, OSHA)
• Exercises strong consistent communication skillsets with effective documentation practices
• Demonstrates a continuous learning and improvement mindset
• Exercises good behaviors and basic leadership skills that demonstrate MOTIVA values of Respect, Inclusion, Support & Equity (RISE)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and skill utilizing SAP Plant Maintenance module
• Previous roles in Maintenance Planning and Execution in energy industry
• Experience in Warehousing and Inventory Management in Manufacturing
• Experience in asset/equipment documentation management and control
• Diploma in Business Management or supporting industry subject/discipline
• Able to interpret Piping & Instrument Diagrams (PID), One Line, and other typical controlled drawings
• Awareness of terminals and pipelines industry equipment, systems, and processes
